| In the woods of Turtle River, MN there is a beautiful oasis known as Concordia Language Villages that drew us each to Bemidji. “CLV” is an amazing playground of inspiration, creativity, and community, which operates under the guise of teaching world languages & culture to students of all ages. How far or wide our studies & travels have taken us, somehow, they always brought us back to Bemidji. At CLV, we had the honor of cooking with top notch & life-changing mentors, the pleasure of exploring world cuisines of every flavor, and the freedom to develop our own culinary styles along the way. Wild Hare is the culmination of a cumulative 30 years of crazy cooking experiences, everything from Roman Feasts, to hunger simulations, to cooling with ice that had to be cut out of the tundra. Wild Hare is a contribution to the community which has nourished us. It is a commitment to helping Bemidji preserve her unique flavor, with a venue of local character that showcases great food, community, art and music.
